Conference: AERA 2025

I had the privilege of attending AERA 2025 in Denver, Colorado this past April. I presented three studies: One in collaboration with esteemed colleagues Drs. Dosun Ko and Yehyang Lee; Another as a solo meta-analysis examining internalizing behaviors among siblings of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; And finally, a critical autoethnographic journey shared as part of a symposium with dear colleagues Miso Kwak, Sam Jacobs, and Drs. Giada Costantini and Tanushree Sarkar.

A special moment during the symposium was meeting Dr. David Hernández-Saca, whose work has been a deep source of inspiration for many of my ongoing and in-progress projects.

Already looking forward to AERA 2026 in Los Angeles—for more research, more community, and a chance to visit home. <3
